Did you know that stress can cause weight gain

Weight gain? Cortisol may be your real culprit for those extra kilos. Cortisol is also called the “Stress Hormone”. When life throws a lot of stress, the body reacts by producing cortisol/ stress hormones, which in turn increases the appetite.

Stress generally leads to emotional eating and this, in turn, leads to an increase in weight. Overeating can become a habit and lead to obesity.
